In addition, this toolkit will teach you how to effectively build relationships with policymakers and influence their support of your policy recommendations. Finally, this guide also talks about strategies for sharing your personal experiences while ensuring that you choose what and how you share.

This toolkit provides examples of messages you can use to build more public support for affordable housing in Eastern Connecticut, and guidance about how to deliver those messages in your community.

A proclamation is an official designation within a city, state, or county to honor and raise awareness on a specific day or month about a specific initiative, observance, or issue. This toolkit reviews how to get a proclamation issued in your community/state and use it to bring awareness to the critical issue of youth, young adults, and young family homelessness. The National Network for Youth has successfully requested and gotten many proclamations introduced at the federal level to raise awareness of youth homelessness and human trafficking in America.

The Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has released a new toolkit to help HUD grantees and community developers support faith-based organizations that want to build and preserve affordable housing in their communities, in partnership with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC).

Rapid Re-Housing Works is an informational hub developed by the National Alliance to End Homelessness. It outlines the three core components of rapid re-housing: housing identification, rent and move-in assistance, and case management. The hub offers downloadable resources such as toolkits, webinars, infographics, and training links to support effective program implementation.
