Annual Reports

The Housing Collective’s 2023–2024 Annual Report highlights a period of impact, innovation, and growth. 

Through its three core initiatives—the Opening Doors Initiative, Centers for Housing Opportunity, and Housing Innovation Lab—The Housing Collective strengthened homelessness response systems, advanced housing development, and fostered cross-sector learning and innovation. Backed by 200+ community partners and a strong funding base of public and private support, the organization launched a refreshed brand, a new strategic plan, and continued to expand its role as a catalyst for housing solutions throughout Connecticut.

The Housing Collective’s 2021–2022 Annual Report captures a period of reset and renewal. 

It unveiled a refreshed brand identity and governance structure, launched a new and diverse board, and expanded the Centers for Housing Opportunity model by opening the Litchfield County center alongside Fairfield’s. The Housing Collective also introduced six homeless Community Hubs and improved local access to services via Coordinated Access Network (CAN) hubs. All of this forward progress was supported by a broad coalition of public and private partners across Connecticut.

The Supportive Housing Works 2019–2020 Annual Report highlights a period of resilience and  collaboration. 

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, partners across Western Connecticut quickly adapted, providing safe shelter, implementing innovative safety protocols, and ensuring the health and stability of the region’s most vulnerable residents. During this time, Supportive Housing Works was able to push forward with a number of critical new partnerships and initiatives; including a statewide affordable housing data project, the launch of the HUD Youth Homeless Demonstration Project, and expanded backbone support in Northwest Connecticut,
