The mission of the Housing Collective (HC) is to harness the power of collective impact to provide equitable access to housing and ensure housing stability for all. We envision a future where a safe, stable, and affordable home is available to every member of our communities, as a springboard to opportunity and the foundation for a healthy, productive, and meaningful life.

The Housing Collective partners with hundreds of organizations across Connecticut, convening communities and aligning resources and stakeholders to collaboratively change regional housing systems and to deliver real, lasting housing solutions for communities. We are the backbone organization for three core initiatives – Opening Doors, Centers for Housing Opportunity, and the Housing Innovation Lab – all focused on a singular mission: to solve homelessness and ensure equitable access to safe, affordable housing for all.
