Building a Better Housing Future

Since 2006, The Housing Collective has worked behind the scenes to strengthen Connecticut’s housing and homelessness systems through regional collaboration and collective impact. We partner with more than 200 organizations to change the systems that make housing inaccessible, and ensure stable, affordable housing is available for all.

20 HC 20th Anniversary multi multi 1

As we mark our 20th anniversary, this campaign invites you to invest in the systems that make housing solutions possible across Connecticut, both at the point of crisis and far upstream of it. When you support the Housing Collective, you’re supporting the entire housing system.

Housing instability is not caused by a single failure, and it cannot be solved by a single program. Instead, we need stronger systems. When systems are broken or fragmented, help often arrives too late. When systems work, people get support sooner and communities can plan instead of react.

That's why the Housing Collective works upstream with communities to proactively plan for housing solutions. By connecting people, providers, data, and institutions, we help communities move beyond constant reaction toward lasting housing stability. Join us and let's build a better housing future.

“My organization, who manages the largest public housing portfolio in Connecticut, is stronger when we collaborate with the Housing Collective and, by extension, the many other related groups in our region, from developers to service providers to resident groups. When you support the Housing Collective, you’re supporting the entire housing system.”
