Initiatives

In pursuit of our goal to solve homelessness and ensure safe and affordable housing for all, the Housing Collective maintains three core initiatives that support and reinforce one another: Opening Doors Initiative, the Centers for Housing Opportunity, and the Housing Innovation Lab.

Our Initiatives

The Opening Doors Initiative addresses homelessness, the Centers for Housing Opportunity focus on housing affordability, and the Housing Innovation Lab provides the underlying data and analysis to strengthen impact and measure systems change.

The Opening Doors Initiative provides leadership, dedicated staff, and critical backbone operations for the coordinated homelessness emergency response systems in Fairfield County and Northwest Connecticut.
