The Housing Collective Names Anna Hong as Vice President of Finance

With over two decades of financial and operational leadership, Hong will help support the next chapter of the Connecticut nonprofit organization

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. (September 8, 2026) – The Housing Collective, a nonprofit organization dedicated to solving homelessness and expanding affordable housing in Connecticut, today announced the appointment of Anna Hong as Vice President of Finance. She will strengthen the financial leadership and infrastructure needed to support the organization’s growing impact across Connecticut, as The Housing Collective marks its 20 year anniversary.

As Vice President of Finance, Hong will oversee The Housing Collective’s financial operations, including budgeting and financial planning, grant management, reporting, audit and compliance, and financial systems. She will help ensure the organization effectively manages the complex flow of public and private funding across its network of partners.

“Anna’s ability to think strategically through disciplined financial literacy is exactly the type of leadership we need as The Housing Collective enters its next chapter,” said Jessica Kubicki, incoming CEO and President of the Housing Collective. “Our work depends on responsibly allocating resources across a complex network of partners, programs and communities. Anna’s experience building strong financial systems will help ensure we have the foundation to grow our impact while remaining accountable to the people and communities we serve.”

Hong’s responsibilities will include strengthening the organization’s financial operating model, overseeing grant and subrecipient financial management, leading annual budgeting and financial analysis, and providing financial insight to organizational leadership and the Board of Directors.

“I’m honored to join The Housing Collective at such an important moment for the organization,” said Hong. “Strong financial operations are essential to turning resources into meaningful impact, and I’m excited to help build the processes that will support the organization’s growth, strengthen its partnerships and advance its mission across Connecticut.”

Prior to joining The Housing Collective, Hong served as Managing Director of Finance and Operations at Mighty Earth. She previously held senior finance leadership positions at Uncommon Schools and Give2Asia, where her responsibilities included financial planning, grant administration, reporting and operational insight. Hong received an MBA in Finance and Operations from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University.
