Housing Justice Series

Housing Justice & Food Insecurity

The Center for Housing Opportunity Eastern Connecticut is excited to kick off our third annual Housing Justice Brown Bag Lunch conversation series, designed to engage students and community members to explore the intersection of housing and justice. Lunch will be provided. This event will explore the intersection of food insecurity and housing.

The event takes place on the second floor of the J. Eugene Smith Library, Room 204: Paul E. Johnson, Sr. Community Conference Room.

In 2024, this series began as a partnership between CHO-EC and the Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy at Connecticut College. In 2026, CHO-EC is continuing to partner with Eastern Connecticut State University to bring the events to Willimantic. Subject matter experts and practitioners participate in a moderated discussion and a Q&A session with audience members.
