Opening Doors

Jessica Kubicki is a licensed clinical social worker who has been working within the homeless response system since 2013. Since her start at the Housing Collective in 2016, Jessica has led the development of a comprehensive, coordinated, organized and holistic system of care for the homeless population. As the Chief Initiative Officer, Opening Doors, Jessica oversees the coordination, integration and delivery of all program and related services, and maximizes collaboration amongst the network throughout Western CT. 

Jessica holds a master’s degree in social work from Southern CT State University and a bachelor’s in psychology and education from UMASS Amherst. She serves as a Co-Chair for the Statewide Steering Committee, a subgroup of CT CAN End Homelessness, which consists of a collaborative group of homeless service providers, funders, community action agencies and government representatives focused on targeting strategic action areas necessary to solve all forms of homelessness in the State of CT. Jessica serves on the board of directors for Danbury Youth Services (DYS) as a Co-Board Chair and a part of their Juvenile Review Board.
