Aging in place is the practice of remaining in your home and community as you age, instead of moving away from your community, either to a new home or an assisted living facility elsewhere. Service providers and housing experts will discuss best practices and share available resources about aging in place during this panel and networking event in Westport.
This is the first of two events on housing for older adults hosted by Opening Doors Fairfield County, an initiative of the Housing Collective. The first will focus on aging in place, while the second will focus on ensuring the housing rights of older asults are respected. Panelists and other organizations in the Opening Doors Fairfield County partner network will be available for questions during the event.
