David Rich

David has played a leadership role in developing and implementing local, regional and state campaigns to end homelessness and create and preserve affordable housing in Connecticut since 2000. 

Over the past twenty years David has grown The Housing Collective to be the backbone agency for regional affordable housing and homeless initiatives that collectively mobilize over 250 social service and community organizations, local, state, and federal government agencies, Housing Authorities, corporations, and municipalities throughout Connecticut. 

David also has 20 years of experience creating and building market-based solutions to alleviating poverty in North and Central America, Africa and Asia. David graduated from Yale University and has masters degrees from Southern Connecticut State University and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He serves on the board of directors of a number of international, regional and local non-profit organizations and foundations.
